The Band

Hard+Soul is a cover band from Pforzheim / southern Germany, built on decades of combined stage experience. On guitars and backing vocals, Franz Miko and Gert Giussani have both been performing since the 1960s — over 60 years between them, spanning virtually every decade of rock, pop, and soul history. On bass and vocals, Lucas Schleweis brings roughly 40 years of band experience and a songwriting background that adds extra musical depth to the mix. Holding down the rhythm section is drummer Thorsten Blank, who's logged over 45 years behind the kit — from school bands through jazz and classical training to 15 years of rock and hard rock with Roly Poly — bringing rock-solid timing and stability to every set. Fronting the band is lead vocalist Natasha Malyna, whose powerful, versatile voice moves effortlessly between soulful ballads and full-throttle rock anthems.
Formed in 2025 out of early jam sessions in Bretten, Hard+Soul quickly grew into a tight, well-rehearsed unit that channels its collective experience from hundreds of gigs and decades on the road into every song. The band's musical roots trace back to teenage garage bands in the 1960s, through professional touring years, to home-studio production work — a range that clearly pays off on stage today. The setlist runs from Sade through Toto, Stevie Wonder, and Earth, Wind & Fire to Tina Turner, Beth Hart, and Bryan Adams — a mix spanning silky soul to hard-driving rock. Catch the band in rehearsal and it's immediately clear: this isn't a loose side project but a seasoned, tight-knit outfit with genuine live feel, stylistic confidence, and the kind of musicianship that makes a cover band worth watching.
