Thorsten has been playing the drums since 1980 – initially in various school bands in the Bretten area, which spanned jazz, rock and classical music and laid a broad stylistic foundation from an early age.
This was followed by many years in various line-ups before Thorsten joined Roly Poly for 15 years, a rock and hard rock band with whom he toured until the end of 2021, when the band disbanded due to the coronavirus pandemic. He has now been on drums with Hard & Soul since 2025.
With his extensive experience and steady rhythm, Thorsten is the rock-solid backbone of the band. Together with Lucas, he forms the foundation of Hard & Soul. His stylistic confidence gives the band and its songs the authenticity that a good cover band must have.
